When Tae Ha matter-of-factly said this to Dae Gil (in ep 17) as the only response as to why he brought Un Nyun with him to Jeju despite the danger?

I died and haven't recovered still. That is about the most awesome comment ever. Equals equals equals equals. TH is so not a sweet-talker or anything but when he says things like that, without any fanfare, just...guuuuuh. (I also loved that he didn't try to 'justify' himself - i.e. that UN was on the run and being with him was the safest for her despite it all. Because ultimately it wasn't about that. It was about what he said and the fact that UN made her choice and he respected it).

So OTP, so amazing.

Yes, I am also very very hopeful- now I am getting worried for DG (with his new found crush on TH is looks like a likely scenario is him giving his life for TH, then TH bringing his almost-lifeless body "home" for the last words with UN).

I could see that. Especially since he still owes 'one' life saving to TH.

I'd rather that happened than the other way around.

Though...now that I think about the reality of DG dying, I feel awful. He's had such a horrific life and he never even got to be with UN (and if he only found her a couple of months sooner, they could have still been). I am heartbroken now.

YES, it means he is counting "going away alone" since they got married and feeling bothered/in pain/ no wanting to go about it. I am sure he has not loved his 1st wife the same way he is loving UN. UN is his first love.

Yup. He was probably home 10 days a year back then and never thought anything about it - I love TH because he is willing to change and learn - he tries his best to be a good person but also a good husband.

Yes, I feel that UN is TH's first love too :) Its funny because I read on soompi that most TH/HW's fans are people that are 30 or over or married etc etc. Well I have to say when I was a teenager, my idea about love was different. DG and HW/UN felt in love when they were young and inexperienced. I am not saying that DG/HW's love is not true and precious but it is different compared to TH/HW. It takes a lot to build a marriage and I think TH/HW have what it takes to make a marriage works. Of course, TH and HW look great together. I mean their attraction and chemistry explode on screen.

I also believe that with TH/DG's adventures together, DG will become more at ease and come to peace with UN being married. He is realizing that TH is a great man and HW is truly happy with him. Then it will be easier for him to let go of the past. Being in love with UN is a fraction of his life and should not be his whole identity. I am seeing that DG is learning more about himself and what he can contribute to a better world instead of focusing his whole being on a broken relationship. He should thank TH for this :) showing him how to be a man !!

I agree, I feel she is his first love. I am sure he cared for his wife but it was probably an arranged marriage. One that worked out well but still...
