1. We watched The Secret of Kells yesterday - it was absolutely breathtaking, like nothing we've seen before. I will be posting caps later. It was extra wonderful because when we were in Dublin we did see The Book of Kells - the thought of someone putting that much effort, that much beauty into a page, a letter even - I think in some ways that is the best way to worship God.

2. The more pictures and teasers for Cinderella Unni I see, the more amused I get. I mean, look at this:



Yes, it looks like they are about to start breakdancing but apparently it's a fight! Between CU's bad boy hero and good guy second lead. Guess which is which - guess! I bet the color symbolism is too subtle for you to get. With this and the latest teaser, I am gleeful - this looks like the pinnacle of makjang! I think they should have just called it Temptation of Cinderella instead - I am looking forward to being able to watch the insanity unfold in a manageable amount of eps.

My greatest hope is that this is as entertaining as Bad Love - that Kwon Sang Woo vehicle which had evil klepto slap-happy secondary female with poodle hair, cello-player heroine becoming chicken seller due to injury, hero having sex with girlfriend in an elevator, suicides, slaps, hair-pulling, adultery, and other insanity galore. I am in the mood for something ridiculous and crazy.

3. Another Personal Taste teaser is out. Looks cute. I will never get the hairstyles they give the heroines in comedies though. Never.

4. Am reading a book about Memnon of Rhodes. His OTP is his niece and his wife. Who are the same person. Ahhh, ancient Greeks! (Said wife/niece later became Alexander's mistress - girl really dug powerful warriors, it seems).

Seeing the Book of Kells was the highlight of my trip to Dublin. Besides that, I much prefer the west coast city of Galway to the hubbub of Dublin.

Cinderella's Unni looks like it's going to be so over the top in the MELODRAMA area that now I actually can't wait to watch it! LOL. It also helps that Chun Jung Myung is in it. It's been four years since he's been in anything and I'm excited to see him in a new show.

That Guns n' Roses song is awesome!!!
BUT
Scriptwriter Kim Kyu Wan -I have watched all of his previous dramas but some of them they were too heavy for me (I am not a big fan of makjang dramas, but I do watch them sometimes).
Chun Jung Myung is not one of my favourite actors.
Seo Woo looks horrible here.
Judging by the trailer Taecyeon will often be unintentionally hilarious.
AND
I can`t stand Moon Geun Young anymore. SHE NEEDS TO EAT – when she was healthy looking she weighted 43kg (she is 162cm tall), now she probably tips the scale at 38kg
ON THE OTHER HAND, I WILL TRY TO WATCH PERSONAL TASTE even though I am not impressed with its trailer.
And that hairstyle seriously bugs me.

P.S. dangermousie, would you (please) move Family Honor watchalong just below the Something Happened in Bali communal sticky post ? Family Honor watchalong isn` t among 20 most recent posts anymore-maybe people would be more motivated to watch and discuss about something 54 episodes long if that post was visible all the time
