I'm so tempted to skip ahead to ep 20 and just watch the world implode. (Following with csubs give different interpretations from the WITHS2 subs, it's interesting to see the difference.)

It's been Tae-ha from the beginning - Dae-gil is too damaged, and something tells me he's going to get the knife. Probably in a heroic sacrifice. And you know, he doesn't seem to have any sense of proportionate response, which is never a good thing in kdrama.

OTOH, HIS ABS OVERRULES ALL.

(Btw, researching on the Prince in question reveals that he died and his uncle ascended to the throne. *bites nails* HE'S SO CUUUUUUTE!)

I think you don't want to skip to ep 20. Ep 15 is where UN and DG meet and interact and it's a hell of a scene.

And you know, he doesn't seem to have any sense of proportionate response, which is never a good thing in kdrama.

Oh yes. I just bet he is going to die protecting UN. But I want him to at least get a smooch first!

So a while ago there was debate on UN being the most annoying passive crybaby ever. What's your take?

Yes! I love her and didn't understand the hate, since for a girl of her times she was already leaps and bounds away from typical.

I do wish for more girls in Chuno, though. Seol-hwa's kind of stuck as the unlucky love interest. D:

There's UN, SH (who I don't much care for but is a fan favorite :P) but there is also the super-awesome Chobok - the slave rebel. She is fierce. I also love the smart smart Brothel Keeper. Plus the Jumos :P It's not bad for a period drama :P

UN is getting some love now, when the drama started she was heavily criticized, when her character saw Dae Gil again, I think that's when the waves changed for her (i.e. netizen reception).

Seol Hwa kills me too. She's still so young and is in love with such a doomed man. :| The preview for ep21 look so sad. I'm hoping SH's confession will lead to a long talk with DG.

+ Ugh. I'm so pissed that Jo jumped ship and is now betraying everyone.

I actually don't feel much for SH - she is a character I am *meh* about (probably am influenced by my husband who can't stand her because he thinks she's useless). Maybe because whatever life she ends up with, even without DG, she is still way better off than being a hooker for that troupe. So she's ahead anyway.

What worries me about girltalk is SH blurting out the thing about UN's brother.

I hope that talk is for much, much later. Gah. Chuno is definitely dragging out this alone time between DG/UN. Tae Ha is leaving soon, but Chul Woong and like EVERYONE ELSE is hot on their tails and headed for Mt. Worak. THIS IS SO NOT GOOD.

I like Seol Hwa, I adore her... but I do not feel sorry for her with her fascination for Dae Gil. I think she likes Dae Gil because he is unattainable. Because he will never love her, unlike the other men who lusts for her, Dae Gil will not touch her... and part of her loves him for that. He's a way damaged man who is made and built only for Un Nyun. The fact that she never gets that does not make me an tingey bit sorry for her.

But UN-SH needs to makeout.
