I don't know if you ever watched Legend, but DG reminds me a lot of Ho Gae - he's not in love with a psycho the way Ho Gae was, but it's the same - no matter how hard he may get or which problematic things he may do, you never can not care for him because of how all-consumingly he can love, even as he knows it is hopeless.

Yes, I bet he'd be OK with seeing her married as long as he could be her next-door neighbor. Poor guy.
