I am sure if you've been on my flist for longer than a week, you are aware about my hyped-up excitement for Oh My Lady which starts week after next and stars Chae Rim and Choi Siwon as a divorced single-mother manager and a prickly, younger star she manages, respectively.



Well, official posters, pics, and teaser are all finally out and I am so giddy - they all look so wonderful. Too often I get excited about a drama and then the stills/teasers let me down. These do not! It looks candy-colored wacky sexy fun.



I really love the almost cosplay, cheeky vibe of these two posters - they make me think of dress-up parties and old ads and fun.





I really love Chae Rim's look - it looks so deliciously retro and fresh. I'd wear that.





Choi Siwon does funny things to me (always had, since 18 vs 29) so oooh boy, can I buy him as a famous sex symbol.





I am glad to see that the kdrama scarf mania seems to be confined to Secondary Guy this time.





You know what's scary? I own this dress. Only mine doesn't have criss-crossing straps but straight ones.





Those are some wicked tights!

Doesn't it look totally hilarious? I want to see the bickering and the inevitable smooching and the unimpressed small child. It's a SBS drama which means viikii should have it (their licensing is usually a problem only for KBS/MBC).

His AAAAAACTING is stupendous (have you ever watched Futurama? He reminds me of Calculon).

I hope they have a lot of filming scenes sprinkled throughout! :P I also love how unimpressed Chae Rim was. (Oh, and apparently they filmed a fanmeeting in an early ep and I am sure that will be hilarious too).

Boring Secondary Guy didn't do anything for me in Dal Ja's Spring, I hope he's a bit more exciting in this. But even if he isn't, CHAE RIM and SIWON and CAN'T WAIT.

He's rockin' that striped jacket in the first two pics, it looks amazing. I think this is my most anticipated new season drama, even more than Cinderella's Sister and Personal Taste, although I'll try to follow all three.

I hope it delivers!

okay, so i wasn't really too excited about this drama until this post. it looks hilarious. and i'm surprised i'm not cringing seeing siwon in a drama. i haven't seen him since spring waltz, and back then he didn't really leave any impression on me. i'm glad i'm not thinking super junior when i see him here. o0o0, i can't wait now!

Chae Rim never seems to age. I mean that to say she progresses in the way she looks and the roles she plays but she never gets old. I've been seeing her since 2001: an old favorite. :)

as for Choi SiWon, wasnt he the dude in the ChunHyang-HyangDan take? i remember him being really cute. can't for the life of me remember him in 18 vs 29 though!

OOOH I want it so bad! Isn't she his manager also? So we get both superior and older woman drama? FUN!

That said, I just started getting into CSW in k-pop land and it's weird to see the two (k-pop and k-drama) mixing. Just this weekend I was watching a clip of him kissing his boy bandmate (Heechul, he's also on a k-drama, a bad one) on stage and now I'm looking forward to this drama. SO STRANGE.

Manager doesn't mean the same thing though - from what I can tell, managers are like personal assistants - drive you around, make your appointments etc. There are agents or big wigs who chart your career but that's a separate thing. Still, it's going to be delish.

The less I know about pop idols' idol lives, the happier I am because otherwise I can never take them seriously in a drama :P

Chae Rim is so adorable! I've always wanted to watch a drama with her in it. I'm really excited for Oh My Lady now! Apparently, Siwon had to lose a lot of weight and get a bit more jacked for the role. How fit can he be?! So I'm anticipating a lot of necessary shower scenes :DD

Siwon's a weird one though. On one hand, he's Christian and always showing it. (We, Super Junior fans, christen him 'Shisus'.) And on the other hand, he's flashing his abs and kissing other Super Junior members. Oh, Siwon, I can't wait for your drama.
