ETA: I hestitate to point this out to you, Hag, because I am afraid you will slit my throat as I sleep, but he did not hire his housekeeper in order to irritate you. In fact, I would bet $20 that he hired her because he wanted to hire her, without any consideration of you whatsoever. I know it's hard to process, but *gasp* the Universe might not revolve around you 100% of the time. Yes, yes, I know that's an almost inconcievable concept, but try. Please try before nice policemen are forced to take you away in a car with flashing lights and bars on the windows.
ETA2: Hero to Hag: "I told you already, I see everyone in this world as a woman except for you." I mean, there is no way to make it clearer (or more exasperated). I am beginning to worry Hag cannot process human concepts and speech.

I think she went to Fatal Attraction school of wooing.No wonder he was such a human icicle with Pal Kang at the beginning - he is probably permanently terrified that if he's nice to someone, he'd acquire an army of stalkers.
ETA4: Pal Kang dealing with Hag is made of win. Because PK is not in love with Hero and has no interest in him whatsoever. But she won't be bribed to leave her job because she needs job structure and hard work and self-respect and not quick money which will solve problems in short term but stick her back in cycle of hopelessness in the end. PK is probably the most common-sense, no-nonsense heroine I have seen in years.
ETA5: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Kang Ha found out about Pal Kang's debt and he arranged to meet the debt collector and he'll be paying off her debt and he's doing it in secret and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE YOU KANG HA AAAAAAAAAAAAAA. You know what it really calls back to? Back in ep 2 (I think) he told his brother not to interfere with Pal Kang's life unless he was ready to take responsibility for it - and yes, that sounded cold but the flip side is pretty darn awesome - because if he does interfere, that means he really will do his utmost to take responsibility for her and help her. When he interferes, it's not just good intentions or a quick little thing - no, it's concrete and major help. (And it so makes sense - if you interfere because you feel sorry but don't really do anything, you aren't really helping, just offering sympathy which is ultimately useless to the recepient and only is self-serving in making you feel better).
ETA6: Secondary Guy is creeping me out.
ETA7: And nephew cracks me up. Though he is bying food to bribe kids so PK would have good opinion. KH bought them food because they were hungry - I don't think he cares for her good opinion (or at least he does even if he doesn't realize it yet, but that's not why he fed them). Hmmm.
ETA8: You know what Secondary Guy's problem is? He is in love with the status quo. He will do anything to smooth things and keep them nice and as is, even if doing so won't reallt fix anything that needs to be fixed, at all.
ETA9: Their bickering is making me LOL like mad. Keep it up, awesome people, keep it up! And bwah, she pushes through no matter what. And she makes him grin. SQUEESHIPSHIPSHIP.

I bet looking like he wants to hurl = true love of you on his part. Seriously, girl, see a shrink. A good one. But I love KH for pointing out (when she exclaims she loves him) that she doesn't love him, he is something she wants to achieve. Spot on.
Btw, this is the stated Hag logic - love is petty and dirty (WTF?), what I am doing is petty and dirty, ergo I love you. Huh? It's official, she's from Jupiter.

He is setting up his nephew for heartbreak and/or pushing PK into a situation she does not want and/or screwing his brother, all for benefit of crazy Stalker Hag? Ooooh, maybe all of a sudden if PK were not there he could like Hag? Even if he showed dislike for the prior decade before PK even came on the scene? SICKO.On the plus side, jealousy from KH ftw.

I didn't notice older bro's criticism but I suppose she's more OK with them because she cares for what he thinks, while she doesn't care for KH's opinion. (Her frankness about her past crush is awesome - it's clear she regards it as a total former bout of insanity which is perfect because he's so falling).
His constant exortations to himself not to talk to himself were love.
I so love their interactions - they are totally equals and an odd kind of friends - she thinks he's irritating and all sorts of things but she acknoledges when he's being kind. And she's changing him and actually making him younger and human and making him smile which he never did before.
Secondary Girl is - her logic is not our earth logic. I have yet to figure how come secondary guy picks her over his brother when she's so lunatic.
Did you see the preview? One long SQUEE - the stuff with KH standing up for PK in the company, and his evil mom there too. OMG.

Comments in no particular order:
- How old are the WON brothers? I would have said late 20s, very early 30s with a 2 year separation, but HAG is 3 yrs younger than "small uncle" and she looks at least 35.
- I laugh my ass off every time nephew ends up in the shower. I feel bad because he's getting wrongfully accused but at the same time it's hilarious.
- When Green was stuck out in the cold on the first day, I sniffled. Also, genius thinking on her part.
- Pal Gang was really living an irresponsible life. It's amazing to witness the turnaround.
- I've seen hag's mother play some very loving and genuine women, right now she's doing a stellar job of playing the calculating, former bar hostess. I hope karma doesn't forget her. Taking the family's home away in the dead of winter. Evil witch is evil.
- And that's just from eps 1-3. More comments later.

The actor that plays secondary guy, the guy that plays the nephew and the secondary girl were all born in '82. (28 in Western years. 28/29 in Korea).
However, PK is 25. The Won brothers are older then her, so I'd put them as early 30s (32-34-ish). The nephew is younger then PK, and I'd put him (based on his behavior) at 21-23. The makes secondary girl. . .a 20-something that looks like a 30-something.

*What the hell is up with secondary girls lips??? Plastic surgery much. Ughh. I can't stand watching her. Every time she comes on screen I grit my teeth.
*Not liking secondary guy either.
*I cried when No Rang was locked out of the house in the freezing cold. Now I want to adopt these kids.
*I cannot take In Gu seriously. Because he looks like Fred Armisen. Seriously, when I was reading recaps and saw the screencaps with him in it, I had to do a double take. WTF is Fred Armisen doing in a kdrama??? Did he get fired from SNL??? Hehe.
I can't wait to get to episode 10! Waiting for new episodes will be torture, but what the hell. I'm in!

I've seen crazier secondary females but she's definitely beyond help. I can't even hate her because she's so pathetic. When she tried to "seduce" him, I was like, "Girl, stop." - Can't stand him. While everyone was squeeing about "how cute" he was in the earlier episodes, I kept thinking that something about him was really bugging me and then I realized it was because he was so weak. When KH was being such an asshole, his brother was the one playing the knight in shining armor role but he only half-assed it. He only ever did things for her that didn't require much effort. In fact, most of it was begging his brother to help. He's just such a coward. He won't put his neck on the line for anybody.

- Weirdly enough I'm cool with the fact that by episode 10 there are no signs of them getting together. I like this slow pace and I'm really appreciating the way their relationship is slowly progressing. And while I totally want them to make out, I'd actually be cool with them just being great friends. Friends who kiss a lot but friends. ;)
