Yet another still from the upcoming Slave Hunters. Personally, I think they shound hunt down whoever came up with that outfit - it's atrocious from top to bottom (yes, I know, historically accurate blah blah. Still atrocious).

In other news, finished Lawyers of Korea. It's too low-key and angstless to go on my favorites list (it's not slice of life at all but it does lack those melodrama moments present in many a drama). But I enjoyed it immensely. Great way to spend the time. Few brief comments.
1. Neither legal nor business stuff in this made any sense. Glaringly so. It kept throwing me out of the story - but ah well.
2. Loved the hinted-at possibility of Lawyer Byun and Ae Ri. They so totally would work. Plus, Lawyer Byun continues to be ridiculously hot. Loved the scene where Woo learned about why he left - pretty emotional but yes, that boat has sailed already and he cannot get her back. A little weird that they are so chummy after merely a year after - so maybe he never truly was madly in love with her after 6-yr separation (makes sense) but was more of trying to make it work because it should? I dunno.
3. I think the scene where Mingook kneels to the bankers and it's not for romantic reasons or even to save his job but to save his staff and company? Was my favorite scene in the drama. OMG.
4. I sort of became irrational about how hot Mingook was by the end, but I think part of it was the super-sexy suits. When he was in super-casual clothes at the end, it wasn't like this :)
5. Ending kiss. Why, their mouths were open and everything, like real grown-ups. Lucky for them they have a big conference table they can use right behind them.
6. I am still confused how the '3 years I will stay away from Woo if you give me your $$$, Ae Ri' thing was not resolved at all - I would have been fine with him having a break-up and asking her to wait for 3 years or him deciding he can't do it, to hell with the promise. But it was sort of dropped after some half-hearted attempts on his part and Ae Ri never brought it up. Odd.
7. I need to see Lee Sung Jae in something else stat. My new crush!

Oh. I got so addicted to this drama!
Also, do you like Rich Ice Queen fiancee? I feel like I am the only person in the fandom who likes her.
Secretary Heroine is so cool. And if I were single, I know what I'd like to do to the icy brainy 'my Daddy doesn't love me' hero.

CAMPING OTP! Wiping her hands! Splash fight!
Am cracking up every time the boys have their "so when did we sleep together?" exchange.

the 3-year thing: but he did go and stay away for three years, though as it turned out he was managing the company from afar and turned it around on his own and didn't need her money after all.
