I need some cheery mindless fluff and I've decided I should not let fandom ruin a drama for me. Because without the rabid off-putting fans who proclaim it the Best Most Realistic BESTEST WRITTEN DRAMA Evah, YAB would probably end up as "cute fluffy trifle, not exceptional but not bad" for me as opposed to "irritation meter rising due to spawn of satan drama" knee-jerk reaction it gets from me now.

I shall overcome it! I shall! :)

Plus, I need cheering up and nobody is going to die in this one. If they did, I'd just LOL.

I am a lot more interested in Hong Sisters' next drama which is supposed to be in the Nine-Tailed Fox style. Hmmm.

They already announced a new drama? Hmmm. And I was always iffy about starting Nine-Tailed Fox. It seemed like a mix of satire and sci-fi which doesn't seem to mesh well.

Yay as well! While I could care less about Mi Nam, I thought Tae Kyung and Jeremy were absolutely adorable. The scene from that gif you posted made me melt/squeal insanely when I watched it. dsjkfsgf

Heh. It's not realistic - it is very stylized and OTT. It's fine if you like that sort of thing (which I don't) but when fangirls go on and on about realistic and relatable characters and meaningful interactions, I get confused. Most of them are 15 years younger than me though so...

Nah, the plushie thing is because it's a toy he made (!!! don't ask) for his OTP and he is squishing it by proxy because she imed him she loved him or similar.

YAB is not my thing. But I will finish it. Only 2 eps left.

You know, that's a good idea! I'm also in need of something fluffy and ridiculous, and maybe if I go in knowing other people hate Minam as much as I do (instead of feeling bitter and alone in my resentment like with the first few eps), it'll be more palatable. Hmmm.

OMG, you still have not finished YAB after our last talk yet? :-)
what You said about age difference between most of cast and me is exactly the same for me too but somehow i never was bothered about it because i just loved everything about it. now that you mentioned, i too not a big fan of mi nam but they are twoo very cute together.
one thing i noticed in k-drama (i only watched 4 so far) as female viewer is the most of lead heroins in the drama are kind of annoying and not much loved. well, i have been annoyed by every single female lead in HGD, BV, Hwang Jin Yi and YAB (the least annoying one)
remember you were asking me about Beethoven Virus and what i think of it when i watch? well, I just LOVE this drama (except from its annoying female lead). everyone might compared to Nodame, but it is not at all. it's very grown up no comedy drama and i think is 10 times better than nodame (and i love nodame to bits)
