dangermousieI have seen it a few times on my flist already, but apparently a studio bought rights for a live-action version of one of my favorite animes of all time (actually behind only Trigun as a favorite), Full Metal Panic.

Even "better?" The rumor is Zac Effron (most known for High School Musical 1, 2, 3, 18, ten billion) will play Sousuke, the over-solemn teen mercenary. He will defeat the terrorists by singing at them. Maybe, if we are lucky, he and Kaname could do a tender love ballad while dodging bullets in the middle of the forest. Ahahahahaaaaaaaa. I actually like Zac Effron and think he was adorable in HSM but no. Just no. Who are they going to cast for Kaname, Miley Cyrus?
Bleh. And this is from the gal who actually thinks Keanu Reeves will make a good Spike in the upcoming live-action version of Cowboy Beebop.
