After the end of IRIS (which I am thinking about constatly - if there ever was a drama that owned my soul) I need a break from the intensity. No kdramas for me at all for a few days - I need to come down from it all. So...

Definitely FNL! If you get hooked, you can catch up in time to watch the final season in real time :)

Oh my God - isn't it 3+ seasons? How many eps is it? :)

4 seasons have aired, and think the fifth and last is starting soon... I also think the last two seasons were shorter than a normal run, BUT I just discovered that the first three are available for instant play on Netflix, meaning for $9 you can get their one disc at a time plan and watch all three streaming online. :D

Hee! I totally voted for FNL (not just because I don't know the other choice at all) but that's because I am madly in love at the moment and I want to encourage more discussion on the f-list!

The other one is a Bollywood movie about a girl who cross-dresses to get in a cricket team :)

But yes, FML is something I am finally curious about.

Friday Night Lights FOR SURE. One of the best pilots I've ever watched.

DBH DBH DBH!!! It's not the greatest movie ever, but it's cute and I really liked it.

I can't remember if you like Shahid or not, but Rani is awesome enough for both of them.

Dil Bole Hadippa is so much fun! Just light, humourous and happy, which is a great way to pass the time. I squeed my little heart out at TIFF. ;)

Heh, I was hoping for your suggestions. :)

I need something silly, fun, happy-happy-happy & worlds away from k-dramas. I think I'll just go on a reading binge.

Fluffy fun - do you like classic screwball comedies? They are usually perfect (My Man Godfrey, the Lady Eve, Palm Beach Story etc).

Ah yes but can I find these, that is the question. :) Thanks for the suggestions though, will try & look for them, I was thinking movies and/or reading binge anyway.

I voted for FNL, though I'm not sure it's the option you want to get away from intensity...

(Oh, and I just saw your post on the IRIS ending -- I didn't click it, but it made me grin that you were so considerate about mood spoilers. Thank you very much!)

Date: 2009-12-17 10:20 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com
Hey, whatever else in FNL, I can't see gangs with guns running around or our hero tortured within an inch of his life :)

Re: IRIS. Yeah, I know some people get very very paranoid about mood spoilers and honestly, if there ever was a drama that deserved not to get spoiled for those who are spoilerphobes, IRIS is that one.

Now I'm really curious what you'll make of it!

flksdjfksdfjsdf it's so hard to know answers are RIGHT THERE and the only thing keeping them from me is my own paranoia. NEEDSUSBSNEEDSUBS.

I'll see - football is not my thing at all but a lot of flisters love it.

I can't wait to see your take on IRIS ending! Whenever you get to it, let me know - I want to babble about it!

I voted DBH because I loved the movie and I don't want you to start watching FNL before me! ;)

FNL is so very good. But like one of the previous comments said, it's not sunshine and roses - which DBH is. If you want something completely the opposite of IRIS (which I haven't wathed, but read every single of your posts so I felt a little heartbreak) then I say DBH. But if you want something along the same lines of IRIS...maybe FNL.

DBH - I need sunny and happy and not taking place in Korea.

Another episode of "Christmas", of course. Or "I come with the rain" to tap on Lee Byun Num obsession ** taunts you with pictures: http://alexandral.livejournal.com/260167.html#cutid1 **

But FNL is good, really good.

Heh. I'd love to watch both but just for today I need a Korea break - IRIS has sort of sucked out my soul atm :)

Nope - Mr. Mousie liked it so if he's game for another go, I'll definitely get it.
