I nearly had a heart attack when I read that So Ji Sub entered army training (didn't he just get back from the army!!!) but it turned out he's just doing a refresher for upcoming Road No. 1. Phew, don't scare me so, dramabeans - I can't deal with this. I am so looking forward to Road N.1 though - SJS and Kim Ha Neul, with Choi Min Soo as well, and the writer of Dog/Wolf and director of Dog/Wolf and La Dolce Vita. "Oh my God!" sums up my reaction. What with that, Chuno, Dong Yi, and Jejoongwon, 2009 will hopefully be a hell of a year for historical dramas.

I have to say, the thing about Korean army is at least it's only 2/3 years. And it's not so bad for me because most of my favorite kdrama guys have completed their army thing already, some a really long time ago - one of the advantages of going for the older ones :)

Also, Gong Yoo and Chun Jung Myung just got out! Please don't let them take as long as So Ji Sub or Go Soo to pick a project!

I have only a few favorites who are either still in the army (Lee Dong Wook, Joo Ji Hoon, Eric, Lee Jin Wook) or will go really soon probably (Hyun Bin, Lee Junki). But it's gotta suck if you are a younger man fan - every day must be (as someone on my flist pointed out) like Elvis enlisting :P

On the plus side, they all come out with amazing muscles.

I am so going to rend my garments and wail "Oppa!" when Hyun Bin goes in.

Yup - here's my Top 25. The only changes to it (which I need to make - am lazy - really must continue with my comprehensive kdrama list) is to add IRIS, City Hall and Last Scandal to the list.

And how! I just checked out WISFC. Barreled thru all 4 episodes and now I don't want to watch anything else. Argh, I fell for another currently airing show. (mmm thanks to a certain mousie :)

I'm so glad to hear Gong Yoo and Chun Jung Myung are out. I hope we see them in something like pronto!

I really really love how Gong Yoo served his country by being a DJ :D. SO HAPPY that he's back since he has such awesome chemistry with everyone he acts with!
