Husband and I were away in CA for the Labor Day weekend...San Francisco, Route 1, Santa Barbara...yum. Best weekend ever.
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is dreadfully dull so far (I am about 30 pages in). I hope it gets better soon, or bye-bye it goes. Also, "Blackhawk" is not a REAL person last name, try to keep that in mind, nameless novelist of a romance novel I tried reading in the airport. If you make me giggle, you lost me. On the plus side, Palin's "Sahara" is one hell of a read.
In other news, I am planning to rewatch Farscape and Firefly. Yay.

Farscape & Firefly...can't go wrong there.

Date: 2005-09-06 05:46 pm (UTC)My icon is from Tales from a Parallel Universe, which eventually became the TV show Lexx. The TV show wasn't so great, but the original 4 made-for-cable movies that launched them are really entertaining. The guy in the picture, Kai, is an undead assassin, so he's prone to say things like: "I'm dead. I have no future." *g*
