All I have to say about episode 3 of Innocent Love is that the scene behind the cut made me shippily-incoherent and faint and every other AWESOME thing.




This is such a Victorian novel in drama form!

I almost fell out of my chair when it turned out Kiyoka is in a coma because she swallowed a bottle of sleeping pills the night before the wedding. I mean, it made me (a) feel even sorrier for Junya - because he is clearly caring for her all this time wondering if he is caring for someone who'd rather die than marry him and (b) want to stab Kyoka in the face - who does that???? Call the wedding off or whatever, but who the heck does that?

I was however loling like mad at Subaru's attempt to whitewash it as she just took too many from excitement. Nice try :P

I think it's an Asano Taeko trope. No one can ever just move away. In Last Friends the abusive boyfriend killed himself and left his body for his girlfriend to find... the morning after he raped her... draped under a wedding dress he'd bought her.

Poor Subaru could be a publicist the way he tries to spin things. XD
