Politics never looked so swoony...
Sep. 13th, 2009 12:31 amHe is a rising politician, clever and cynical and lost. She is a low-level civil servant who ends up facing corruption head-on and running for mayor of her small town. He teaches her about politics and she teaches him about humanity. She might wreck his career but save his soul. He might give her a political future but break her heart. Together they form the most unexpected "dangermousie has gone mad for them" ship of the year and win City Hall the title of the most romantic drama of the year so far.

I also love the age thing so much - I doubt he will see 40 again and she is in her mid-late thirties. Both have been through multiple relationships (in fact, he is divorced). But guess what? They are even more magnetic for that.

Date: 2009-09-14 02:40 pm (UTC)I have so much love for this drama... i just turn to mush watching it. Ok, Kim Sun Ah grates after a while, as does the man-liner on Jo Gook, but hell, their stares of agnst just KILLS me and i come back for more! i love all of the other relationships in this too, including the one between Jo Gook and his mother, his father and especially, the back story between his parents! Argh! i need a prequel!
BTW, i'm getting sucked into True Blood but havent quite made my mind up about Sookie/vampire yet. I am still waiting for TPTB to give me my Bones OTP a happily-ever-after! :)
