No, the above is not a picture of some up-and-coming Asian pop group, it's three of of the four members of the fictional idol boyband in the upcoming Korean drama You're beautiful.
Boyband. As in - a band made up entirely of boys.
Except for one teeny tiny niggling difference. One of these gentlemen is not a gentleman at all. It is Park Shin Hye portraying a girl who cross-dresses in order to join the band with nobody knowing her secret.
THIS IS GOING TO BE SO GOOOOOOOD!
I just know Jang Geun Seok is going to fall for her (and probably Hong Ki as well) and they will be v.v. confused about their emerging homosexuality.
Heeeeee. It's like Ouran slashed with Hana Kimi and blended with Coffee Prince.
I approve mightily. Especially since it's written by the Hong Sisters.
In other news, I thought what I have seen of Tamra the Island made it one of the worst dramas it has been my misfortune to come across, but I do think it's awful they are cutting it down from 24 eps to 16 when 8 (?) eps have already aired - they shot more than 16 eps already, apparently - the story is going to be a total mess. I am against it on principle - I'd rather they signed up for 16 and expanded if it does well then overambitiously sign up for 24 and slash it down making it feel crammed - I saw what that did to Princess Ja Myung Go. It really is ridiculous to do that. I dislike Tamra, true - but I can easily see it done to a drama I care about (like PJMG) and it really screws it up - the pacing, the plotting. If they did it to an underrated masterpiece like Friend, I would have killed someone (thankfully they are not). I am glad they don't cancel them outright the way they do in the US but this is still screwy.

Blond one is Hongki who is definitely male, the one on the left is... one of the other guys, because of the adam's apple, as you said, and the middle one looks the least feminine of the three (to me at least), so I'd say she's not on this.
PLUS, it would make sense for them to release a pic of the guy's and keep the girl's appearance a secret, to shock everyone later on. :D
