I am back on the shipper fence; and Helo/Boomer/Tyrol

Gee, all it took for me was some kissing. Hmmmm....

Still not rabid though because not enough angst yet.

Helo/Boomer continues to rock my boat though. If only they had more screen time, I am sure I'd be a shipper for them. But I can't wait until they get back together with Galactica and Tyrol will see this Boomer.

The man already has severe issues. The way he is coping is pretending Boomer was a machine who could not love or be loved. And here he is going to be confronted with Sharon who loves and is loved by a human. *Blam* down go his walls!

And the whole it's Sharon, but it's not, and now she is with Helo is an additional complication. The man is going to need therapy.

Yeah, the Sharon/Tyrol/Helo thing is going to be absolutely fascinating.

I'm not sure how bad he's going to take it though...His character seems the type that is able to put things behind him fairly easily. Just look at how quickly he ended his relationship with Sharon once he decided it wasn't worth it. Since then we've scene 3 scenes with him and Sharon, and in none of them (perhaps save the bitter end) did he express any kind of real attatchement to her.

Oh yes. I am afraid to fully 'commit' to any ship on the show because of the expactation of rug being pulled under with every ep. But there's no question that detachment or not, H/B are perfect. I just don't want to get too into them to be left gnashing my teeth at RM :)

Re: Tyrol. He seemed pretty torn up in the scene where he visited her in sickbay after she tried to kill herself.

But in any case, I can't wait for the fireworks...

Oh, I was a mild shipper in S1. It's just during the separation in S2 I sort of lost interest.

I am still in the "if they go that way, great, if not I'm OK" stage, which is fine.

Of all the unsailed ships (i.e. everything that is not H/B, of Baltar/Six), K/L has the greatest chance of sailing, no doubt about that.

Apollo is sort of like Archie, only all grown-up. Sigh....

He is a bit I've noticed. There's the same sort of sweetness and sensitivity there, but with Apollo it's much more battle hardened. Archie was very dewy and wide eyed with a hint of sarcasm, Apollo might still have an innocent under current to him (his idealism hints at that), but he's been around and seen some stuff too. Apollo's is sort of a world weary innocence, if there can be such a thing. Jamie is one of the very few actors who can balance those two traits well at all.

I loathe Tyrol with a passion and it is so true - he turned away from Sharon when she needed him, said that she was a machine when even Adama was coming to the realisation that she was more than just that. And yes, now we will have Sharon "who loves and is loved by a human". I can't wait until Helo makes him feel like the inadequate pondscum he is.

I do think that Tyrol will have to reconsider his previous opinions. Clearly, this Sharon is sincerely in love with Helo, and clearly Helo has no problem (well, by now) loving her back, and they are in a relationship that seems to work for the both of them. I wonder what Tyrol will make of all of this.
