OTP! OTP! The camping trip of deliciousness! Wiping of her hands and water fight (cannot imagine him doing this with his icy fiancee) and watching her sleep. It's like a smorgasbrod of wonderful.

Maybe it's because I am less tired or maybe it did get better, but all of a sudden, on ep 8, I am rather in love with City Hall.

And so very shippy.

Tango:

I love this one so much! Her dress is torn by mayor's flunkies when she is protesting and he sees and gets rid of them and then covers her torn dress with his jacket:

Watching her sleep (side note, I love that he is upfront with her about having a fiancee and warning her about this situation. I have no problem with the 'cheating' (it's in quotes as it's a purely business arrangement engagement on both sides and it's not as if he and Mi Rae have yet slept together, but even if they did it wouldn't bother me - that sort of thing is not an automatic no for me, unless there is adultery and sometimes not even then) but I would have a problem with him hiding the truth of the situation from her:

Also, I checked out ep 20 and most adorable proposal ever!

She looks very pretty in the last set of caps.

I have yet to see this, so no comment otherwise.

Oh, thanks for the flashbacks. They are sooo cute together it kills me. If I remember correctly there is a flashback to the camping in a different POV in one of the later episodes that made it even better. I love his modern new wave hair, but in a way it's just too cool for a politician, but it works... so I'll let it slide.

Yeah... if I'm not wishful hallucinating I remember a few scenes from his POV in a flashback sequence in one of the later episodes.

Yeah, The first 8 or so episodes of City Hall feel like a completely different (worse) drama than the rest of it. And, strangely enough, it's only when they really start to focus on the political intrigue of it all that it gets interesting (strange for me, at least. I'm not a huge fan of political or legal j/k/t dramas, the legal/political systems are so unfamiliar to me that it makes it difficult to catch the nuances.).

And the romance is so great. I love the OTP, I think their relationship develops really interestingly and at a good pace. And I even like the fiancee. I think she's clever and compelling as the bad guy in their triangle. I like that it isn't so much about how she's obsessed with Jo Kook and keeping some non-existent love--she has ambitions that include him, so her holding on to him is so much more about her and where she wants to be than trying to make Jo Kook love her.

And yes, the proposal is great. I love the whole last 5 minute montage, very cute.

Yeah - it has a very slow odd beginning but then it really kicks into high gear.

I too like that the fiancee isn't motivated by desperation or love, just ambition.
