Oh God, I have a new ship: Xiao Ma/Chen Lin. I want it SO FREAKING MUCH. I think they could take over the world. (I think Xiao Ma is getting to be pretty close to my favorite character).

Except I love Chen Lin/Zai Tian. And Chen Lin/Ying Xiong. And either of the three guys with Forensics Girl - hell, I can't make up my mind, I think they all should get together in one giant orgy of pure awesome.

On a more coherent front:

* Poor Ying Xiong. When he is in the bar, after he's given up his principles!!! And doesn't even arrest a thief :(

* The scene where Chen Lin talks to him and is all "Zai Tian is a useless brother - I wish you were my brother instead." She means it in the nicest possible way but that is about the worst thing to hear if you are in love with her.

* Ying Xiong's ex? Should DIE! She is messing with his investigation, framing him, and trying to drive a wedge between him and Chen Lin (oddly, it's the latter I find the worst - the others related to her mission for the bad guys but messing with his potential relationship has nothing to do with that)

* These eps are YX-heavy, which is only fair as 15-16 were Zai Tian heavy.

* Xiao Ma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously. When he gets past Chairman's goons like that! Or when he comes to rescue Chen Lin! OMG that whole scene made me switch ships like MAD. When he gets her out of there even when he is injured and tells her he had that surgery and became a Sarkozy but then they were supposed to blow up a car and there was a girl next to it and the girl's face and her smile made him feel something - pity or love - and so he failed his mission and realized his operation didn't work, and so he couldn't continue being like the other mercenaries. And then he looks at Chen Lin and says "this girl is right here now" or something to that effect !!!!!!!! Seriously. *dead* And then he tells her he will cover her and she should run but instead she dispatches the goons with the machine gun and SQUEE. Seriously. So very freaking awesome!

* Ying Xiong's sex scene with evil ex. !!!!!! Seriously. My eyes bugged out of my head - I didn't know you were allowed to do that in a twdrama!

* I love the conversation between YX and ZT at the police car - when ZT tells YX to take careof his sister (Chen Lin) because ZT can't do anything to her now and YS is all "what were you going yo do to her?" LOLOL

* Zai Tian is really intuitive - he tells Ying Xiong he thinks his ex has a weird vibe for a cop. Too bad YX shrugs it off...

* AWWWWWWW. OMG. Chen Lin confesses to Xiao Ma that even though she shouldn't love Zai Tian (hello, he's her sib!) she still loves him. SQUEEEEE.

* YX is framed. Urgh! His face! (Though why was he in that building). My head hurts with all the crosses/double-crosses, honest :)

* And speaking off, the Police Girl is clearly one of the bad guys :(



Yes, clearly I am all about the plot in this drama. Lots of plot.







































I also loved the whole scene with Chen Lin and Xiao Ma, especially the part where he is all set to sacrifice himself for her and then she guns down the bad guys thus saving them both instead...

















The scene afterwards where he asks her if she can see him as more than a friend and she confesses she still likes Zai Tian!







And of course friend BFFs!

I have also found a desperate love for Xiao Ma who I find ridiculously hot for his dimples and his ass-kickery. I cannot properly express my thoughts on the scene where they gun down the two bad guys without dissolving into incoherent babbling and an extreme use of capitalized letters and exclamation marks. (BECAUSE OMG!!!!!!!!!) It has to do something with the fact that Xiao Ma is so desperate and he's ready to play the hero and then Chen Lin just busts out like, I GOT THIS, and takes the guys out like the badass that she is. Their babies would come out of the womb back-handing the doctors.

But then we have Zai Tian and Chen Lin who are pushing at my buttons with the whole incest thing. Yeah, it's weird. I just want them to start making out as soon as possible.

And YX and his love for Chen Lin just kill me. They would never work out ans I'm sure he knows this, but he's still hopelessly in love with her. Don't even get me started on Scientist Girl. Because I ship her with the two guys as well, although with YX much more than with Zai Tian.

Yes, I am not alone! And that scene with the two of them turns me into an incoherent babbler for so many reasons, chief among them being that Chen Lin might require occasional rescuing (as does every single character in this) but she is the furthest from a damsel in distress one can imagine and saves them both!

I'd say that I foresee angst in their immediate future, but foreseeing angst in this show is like foreseeing that the Earth will continue spinning. Like, yeah, no shit, Sherlock.

Poor YX - his love for Chen Lin is so doomed. There was a scene in the trailer where Ying Xiong was weeping while telling Chen Lin he wanted to tell her he loves her but now he can't and I cannot wait to see where that comes from.

Sadly, that something was an evil inflitrator that sexed him up in order to frame him. In light of that, think he should have stuck to his right hand. Maybe, if he was feeling really adventurous, he could have alternated?

I did like the bit where I think he realized Forensics Girl likes Zai Tian now and is a bit taken aback and wistful. They should get together - it's clear Zai Tian and Chen Lin still have a torch for each other despite siblinghood (and if that won't kill it, nothing will) so...Or maybe Ying Xiong should hook up with Xiao Ma? That would be the slash ship that would probably kill all the other slash shops and then kick their remains :)

The sex scene between Mark Chao and Sonia Sui was really really hot. No wonder it's been mentioned several times in the cast interviews :D...

Chen Lin continues to be totally awesome! I loved the scene she gunned down the Sarkozys going after her and Xiao Ma. And his confession afterwards was just so sweet.

On the other hand, it's very amusing how all the guys seem to be falling for Chen Lin, whereas all the girls are falling for Zai Tian. But those two just want to be together, even though think they are siblings right now XD.

And Xiao Ma! I already liked him in Mars, but he's been just AWESOME and totally kickass in this drama. I love him and his character more and more with appearance!

I thought exactly the same about this scene. And also on the scene where Xiao Ma was asking if there was any possibility of other than brotherly feelings, and she replied that she loved someone unsuitable (who she thinks is her actual flesh-and-blood brother, and which made me go into absolute denial mode: no way are they siblings!!!).

She's at least being honest about her feelings towards them and not stringing them along with false hopes.

These episodes were again so full of all kinds of twists and turns, I can't wait for next week!

That made me laugh and it is so true: "I'd totally love you if it wasn't for the fact that I am in love with my brother" seems to be Chen Lin's mode of operation (maybe YX should have jumped at her offer of being a sib :D) And Zai Tian also clearly likes her despite not being able to act on it. SO GOOD (my fave scene is still "I don't want to be your little sister" scene).

And every time I think Xiao Ma couldn't get more awesome, he does.

The way Xiu Jie Kai's been so awesome in this drama, I'm wondering why hasn't he done more dramas, or has he only worked for mainland stuff which isn't subbed that often. Because I want to see more of him!!!

YAY! I'm finally caught up. Damn! This thing has more twists than your averige mountain road. It's tough work trying to keep up who's shafting whom and what the alliances are. I'm not even trying to guess how it's all going to end. Rocks probably fall and everyone dies. Or would they do that in an idol drama? They did manage that hot sex scene though, so.....

I love Xiao Ma and his dimples! ;P I think I must be the only female on earth to whom VicZ does squat. LOL! He's very easy on the eye, granted. Mark Zhao on the other hand... or Mr Dimples.... XD
