Watched Serenity last night and now am busy rabidly reading Mal/Inara fic and plan to spend the evening rewatching the show.

Heh. Firefly is like Farscape for me: I can never have just a little bit, I always fall off the ledge.

Mal/Inara! *HEART* I go on binges with them, too. And the show in general. It's one of those I know I'll always come back to. Mal = still on my all-time favorite fictional characters list. So much love.

He is on mine too. Somewhere in the top five, even. He fits my "heroic, messed-up, competent, and snarky" fixation to a t.

I get so upset there weren't more Serenity movies or Firefly eps...*grrrr* Oh well, at least on the M/I shippy front it ended all hopeful. Which I am super-greateful for because knowing Joss, if the show went on for five seasons, everyone would probably be dead and alone :)

River is one of my favorite female characters ever. I love love love her. A hot, devoted brother is only a bonus. :D

Joss is definitely a kdrama writer, which is one of the reasons I have such a love-hate relationship with whatever he creates. How can I let myself get invested in any couple knowing they'll wind up separated, dead, unhappy, shot, mindwiped, sexually assaulted, or left at the altar? AND YET.

I so love the show and movie. I've lost track of how many times i've watched them now since they are on my iPod and i'm constantly marathoning the log of them while i work. they make me very productive and calm.... ;) i so wish we had had more eps to get more into the mystery/secret Inara is carrying, and just who the heck Book really was.

I adored the movie to bits, I confess.

I didn't care for Buffy series finale (I loved seasons finales for when she was in high school and s5's finale) but by that point I basically checked out of the show entirely...
