Apparently Dollhouse has been renewed.

I am so very amused.

I don't think it's a good show, but it keeps me entertained (even if it is to mock it) which is more than a lot of much better shows have managed to do.

ETA: I am so tempted to add Brilliant Legacy (also known as Glorious Inheritance and other variations) to my already unmanageable watching list of currently airing dramas. Not only is the female lead Han Hyo Joo who I fell in love with in Spring Waltz, but apparently it's my favorite trope of icy bastard and spunky girl who won't let him get away with his crap.

I mean. She punches him out.

Seriously? I just wrote a huge review about all the things right and all the things so very wrong with this show. I honestly am surprised. Let's hope they do a lot of tweaking. A LOT. Less Echo and Ballard, please.

That's so true. :( I don't know why they don't want to renew both. I agree mycenae , TSCC is a wonderful show that really was so good toward the end of the season. So many unanswered questions!

Did I tell you this before? I am enjoying Brilliant Legacy. It is nothing to obsess over but it is good typical kdrama.

But the icy guy is such a total jerk with no redeemable quality right now. And I love the secondary guy. So this is going to end bad for me. I'm going to be heartbroken that the secondary guy does not get the girl.

I actually might wait until more eps are out because I am a canon nazi of a shipper (except for BOF but the less said about that one the better) and so if I wait until the lead gets angst or emo over the girl and I go back and watch his brattiness with that knowledge, I know I'll enjoy it more :)

I'm trying so hard to be happy for Dollhouse fans, and for Joss, but I just feel heartsick because of the now-high probability that T:SCC will be axed come Monday. :( I won't get into all the reasons why I think it's more deserving of more life; I'd just sound bitter.

I have never watched T:SCC but I have heard good things about it - it seems a genuinely good show as opposed to Dollhouse, which is entertaining trash (imo). I couldn't have cared less if Dollhouse got axed, but the shock of it coming back is significant - I thought it was dead for sure.

YES. If you know me, you know that I'm not a fan of that icy bastard/spunky girl thing, but I don't mind it here!

Only because our icy bastard is such a complete ASSHOLE that I'm looking forward to him falling head over heels for our girl. (And the thing is, there's nothing he really does that's assholish, it's just his attitude. He grew up completely spoiled and everything was handed down to him so he thinks he's entitled to everything. He treats everyone who's beneath him like garbage, it's great. I can't wait for his eventual downfall and him falling for our girl!). I'm loving it so far. I'm even liking the secondary guy even though he has no chance in hell (he's nice, sweet AND volunteers for charity?? There's no way he'll end up with the girl!, lol).

Just a warning, I watched up to Episode 4 and while it's good, a lot of it is setting up for the eventual storyline. But it's still very entertaining.
