Spring-like with Spring Waltz
May. 8th, 2009 11:15 amI have seen the first 20 minutes of episode 10 of Spring Waltz
GLEE
GLEEEEE
GLEEEEEEEEEEEE.
OMG THE HAND HOLDING THE HAND HOLDING THE HAND HOLDING.
Which was the crowning glee of their day together which left my shippery heart so very satiated. I love how they kept glancing at each other in the rear-view mirror in the car, sneaking looks as if they were ten (and then he told her to turn on the radio, to distract himself, heeee). And then the way he looked kinda like a puppy who failed to impress when he wanted her to listen to some music he was listening in the store via headphone and she was all "I don't like piano or classical music. I like ballads." Heeee. Heeee. And he was kinda grumpy leaving the store and she had to run to keep up with him.
And then they were walking back from his evening hanging out with his pianist buddies or whatever and her hands are cold so he takes the bag she is carrying (presumably with his cd purchase) and she is all "I can do it" but their hands touch and EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. And...and...and........! He totally doesn't let go but just holds her hand and tells her "let's just walk like this" and they do and Ohohohohohohohohhhhhh. I melted like butter on a July sidewalk.
No wonder her best friend is thoroughly unconvinced she doesn't like Worst Luck (I love that she still refers to him that way). Tee-heee. "The way you are denying it makes me more suspicious."
Did I mention there is a RAGAMUFFIN CHILD????? Who gives Jae Ha romantic advice ("You have never fallen in love before? What have you been doing all this time?" Bwahahahahaaaa!) Clearly the drama-makers know all my kinks because seeing Jae Ha be so lovely to the kid (who must be all of ten) is just...guuuh-making. I loved it when he first saw the kid attempting to sell gum on the street and nobody was buying and he bought his entire box and gave him all the money in his wallet (which was way way way more than the box was) and was just remembeing himself doing the same thing as a child, and then his child self looked back at him...I got a bit sniffly. And the second time he bought him the world's biggest dinner. I think because he can identify with the kid and he remembers how that was. I bet he used to wish someone would do that when he was little.
But then we get to the cuteness of romantic advice. While Jae Ha filches the kid's lollipop and the kid filches back. SQUEE MELT. Oh, Jae Ha!
On less cheery note, I still hate Jae Ha's adopted parents. Yeah, Jae Ha's so very messed-up (part of the reason he doesn't know romantic stuff - it is the first time for him, literally). Guess who made him this way? EVIL ADOPTED PARENTS. Geee, you think he will leave you if he finds Eun-Young? Yeah, I think he might, too. Not because he will ditch you to go to former life because it's more enticing or whatever and he has no room in his heart but because you LIED to him and screwed him up. When you have to take away every other option so that the kid with HAVE to stay with you no matter what it does to the kid? You fail as human beings.
