It's official, I hate Jae Ha's adopted parents too. Way to go, take advantage of a desperate and cornered 10 year old. Bravo!

Yup, Su Ho sold himself to crazy people to pretend to be their dead kid Jae Ha in exchange for them paying Eun Young's surgery fees.

And now we are back to the present (squee!!!) so I will start placing my observations under cut as main story is about to begin. But two general comments first.

1. It is official - am a mutant. Ladies everywhere swoon for Daniel Henney who plays Su Ho's best friend, but I find him stalkery and mildly annoying.I think the thing with the dress was supposed to be swoony but I found it creepy. As walkwitheheroes put it, he has a Cinderella fixation.

2. Still the prettiest drama ever. Lake scenes!



It is official. The more jerky Jae Ha is being, the more I like it. Mmmmm waltz when he totally accuses her of playing boring Phillip because he is jealous and doesn't realize it.

HE FIGURES OUT WHO SHE IS!!!!! And takes off so fast you can't see for the dust, after her. Eeeee!

His creepy crazy adopted parents told him she died. I bet because they didn't want anything distracting him from his crazy duty of being their pretend dead kid. Ugh. Is there a bulldozer someone can run them over with?

I loved it when she made him wear the dorktastic teddybear sweater. Ahahahahahaaaaaa! He is so aloof. But clearly not for long, the heroine is a force of nature.

I really, really enjoyed Spring Waltz. It was so awesome watching the relationship develop between Jae Ha and Eun Young. And there's this one scene that punched me in the heart when I saw it - just knocked the breath right out of me.

I can't! So much of what made me want to bawl my eyes out at the scene was the build-up and the surprise factor and, strangely, the total non-surprise factor. It's really obvious though.

After the disaster that was Boys Over Flowers I haven't been able to bring myself to watch any Asian drama but the angst sounds so delicious how can I resist?

Heee. And with this one, I am not watching as it airs so I know the general plot and how it ends so I am safe. So I do rec if you like beautifully filmed romantic melodramas with happy endings.
