1. I finished ep 1of Spring Waltz and OMGOMG love. I was craving an icy woobie/plucky girl romance so badly and this is so going to hit that spot.

I also love the way it's filmed - so beautiful. The heroine is about the most adorable thing ever (how the entirety of Seoul or Austria not falling over themselves for her escapes me. She also looks a bit like Yoon Eun Hye in some angles). I loved the scene on the train where Jae Ha is totally interested despite trying his best not to be and to stay his own brusque, icy, uninvolved self. Give it up, Jae Ha, it's a lost cause. Even if she wasn't your long-lost childhood OTP (that fact being yet unknown to you) nobody can refuse the cuteness! I am so going to ship them like crazy, I can tell, as I made audible girly noises when he helped her get her suitcase down from the train - heeee, he is human.

So very adorable.

2. Despite my total and utter lack of interest in sports and thus sports-related stories, I simply must check out just-started Strike Love.

The reason? Yoon Tae Young and not Yoo Ji-Tae sorry for a temporary brain glitch and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] miss_dian, playing the lead character. YTY's last drama was the incredibly awesome Legend, where he played the tormented Ho Gae, Dam Deok's antagonist/rival/former friend. Now, I am probably going to watch almost anything anyone from Legend ever does because I adored that drama beyond the telling of it, but this is triply true with YJT, who is one of my favorite drama characters ever. I was mesmerized whenever he was on screen.

So curse you YTY, for making me check out a baseball drama!

3. Finished ep 8 of Black and White. LOVE. Felt quite sad about undercover policeman.

Preview for eps 9 and 10 made me die though: triangle stuff! Zai Tian angst! Good good times. It made me flail 18 billion different ways:

LAter when they are in Hallstatt, Austria, I almost died because the scenery was so beautiful. When I was in Austria I tried to go but it didn't work out. It is one of the biggest regrets of my life.

The drama itself however, failed to capture me. I hope it does well with you.

I like the drama so far. But it does make me want to go to Austria like mad!

Re: Yoo Ji Tae. I think you meant Yoon Tae Young. Yoo Ji Tae is the one who played alongside Song Hye Kyo in the movie Hwang Jini (but come to think of it, I can see the similarity!) :-)

I've had Strike Love tagged out for a while now. Actually ever since I learned "Ho Gae" (Yoon Tae Young) is one of the leads. This is his first drama after Legend. As it is, I have this 'thing' for sport dramas/films, ha.

Drat, I have to marathon Black & White now....

Have you seen Yoon Tae Young in Mr. Socrates? It's a movie with Kim Rae Won, but Park Sung Woong (the actor who played Jumuchi) and Oh Kwang Rok (who played Sujini's teacher) were in it too. I thought to myself "Legend cast were united even before they shot the drama!" LOL :D

Nope, haven't seen that one yet. Oh Kwang Rok pops up all over the place. ;P

It is! I just breezed through all the subbed epis yesterday. Vic Zhou is undoubtedly better looking but Mark Zhao totally gives of 'the UTW vibe' which in my book is a Very Good Thing. *g* Kingone as the batshit crazy Gao Yi is made of win. I like the ladies too.

Oh, and the plot is actually quite interesting. ;P

Yay! Glad you like! Marc Chao is amazingly good for a newbie (even if my heart still belongs to Vic).

Mmm, Ho Gae. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices like watching baseball dramas. Such is the life we have chosen.

LOL. It's tough but someone's got to do it. Especially when he has both angst and an OTP in this one.
