Doctor Who...
Apr. 14th, 2009 11:36 pmJust watched the Planet of the Dead special of Doctor Who.
Meh.
A pity, but meh. Even more meh than last year's Xmas Titanic special.
Christina was the first companion/potential companion I wanted to smack. The only way she could be more of a Mary Sue was if she had purple hair and lavender eyes.
Did make me want to reread Harry Potter though. I had a reread sometime ago and stopped in the middle of Book 5. Time to continue...

Date: 2009-04-15 08:48 am (UTC)We had a conversation about this last week at 3 in the morning... and we concluded that we have gone off Dr Who, the BBC's obsession with getting younger viewers is annoying, and anyway, we are still traumatised by the new doctor!!!
Also, i will probably get killed for saying this, but i can't stand harry potter! i've seen all the movies (quite enjoyable really, i just have to restrain the urge to throw things at the screen whenever Harry does/says something stupid), read the books up to the phoenix one, and then, just had to stop before any more of Harry's hand-wringing and wetness sent me raving mad! :) ron, all on his own, makes it bearable!
