This is from a PUBLISHED novel, one I was trying to read. If I read this in fanfic, I'd just laugh, but in a book that someone paid money for? Mind boggles. Who did the author sleep with to get this published, I want to know...

I hated Tess, too. Amazingly, I don't hate Emilie de Ravin, who's quite good on Lost. But I couldn't stand her on Beastmaster and Roswell.
