Battlestar Galactica - last episode ever

I really have only one thing to say about BSG finale.



Helo and Athena made it when I was so scared they wouldn't! Oh, oh, oh, oh thank you, RDM, you have no idea how much.

As for the rest of it, the less said the better - I want to see how long those people will last in the wild. My bet is 2.4 hours, on the average. I much preferred BSG when it was about the grittiness of normal people trying to survive the unimaginable and not this mystical clap-trap, but I am not RDM so what do I know?

I got into livejournal because of Battlestar Galactica - I fell in love with the show, and that is where all the cool discussion was and I wanted in. So, directly or indirectly, I met every single person on my friendslist because of BSG. And that will always be wonderful and make me grateful for the show, no matter what.

So, thank you, BSG!

Even though I have more of a hate than love relationship with this show, I'm grateful it brought you here!!! Otherwise you wouldn't have come up with doramas and never introduced me to it :)

I still remmber that you talked about LJ back then and that you are looking for friends and I replied, hey I'm on LJ too ... the rest as they say is history.

So thanks for introducing me ito a whole new world of things, esp. a new language in which I have become so proficient I can translate stuff now :)

I was so relieved that Helo wasn't dead. At least I got that much! I was annoyed that he was off screen for an hour, though. RDM, jerking us around to the very end. Bah.

They're all wandering off with their suitcases to build "farms" in the wilderness, and I'm thinking, "You know, those 'primitive' people with the sharpened sticks and stones for weapons? THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! They are total experts at hunting and gathering what they need, and if they don't take pity on you they will kill you so dead!"

For myself I kinda liked the ending, but then I am easily satisfied :D

I would however have hated anything where Helo and Athena didn't get to live happily ever after with Hera, and so would have liked anything where they did live happily ever after.
