Since my interest (and the drama run) in BOF is winding down, and I don't think Princess Jae Myung Go alone will keep me drama-occupied, I found another airing kdrama to keep me company: Cain and Abel.



I wasn't going to check it out until later, despite my love for So Ji Sub and han Ji Min, because...medical drama = boring to yours truly.



But.

But.

Why did nobody inform me that there is torture and evil families and amnesia and plucky North Korean refugee girls? Am sold.













Heh. Almost nobody in kdramas gets tormented as well as So Ji Sub and the makers of C&A clearly know it.

I just finished first ep of C&A and I really like it. Yay!

I watched the first couple of episodes and was honestly rather bored. But, episode five was when things started to get interesting. Subtitles for episodes 1-6 are up (from WithS2). I'm not sure if subtitles for episodes 7-8 are up anywhere else, though.

I think viikii has subs for 7-8 but I am way behind so won't get to them for a bit.

I actually liked the first ep - it is a pretty traditional sold typical kdrama in first ep, but I like that sort of thing, though it just might be relief on seeing good editing and soundtrack and grown-ups as leads after the murnout with BOF.

I watched those episodes; the show is getting much better and interesting. For me it became a show I wanted to watch a couple of episodes in. It wasn't that the first episode wasn't good, I was just bored by it. Of course, I was also bored by the first episode of Love Shuffle, and that is now my favorite jdrama of the season.

If the lead annoys you, I'd say stay away - there are tons of good dramas out there that don't have the same problem :)

I'm going to add it to my watch list since you recommend it. although *cocks suspicous eye* I already know you have a penchant for tragic dramas/have a much higher angst tolerance than I do. and I'm not talking about BOF bad angst but real angst. I like mine middling level.

I want to watch this quite desperately because SO JI SUB (!!!). But almost want to avoid because ... SO JI SUB(...). Which means angst and evil and death and sadness and tears. Can he just be happy for once in the end? PLEASE?

That being said, I'll watch if you watch. We can hold each other through the angst. ;)
