More The Rising pics
Aug. 4th, 2005 12:44 pmYes, the Bolly movie about 19th century rebellion against the British is almost here. Just one week :)
Sample:

So, more pics behind the cut.
"Hair care products!!!!"

One way to control male-pattern baldness:

"My beloved has the sexiest mustache ever"

"Really?" (God help me, but I actually think he doesn't look bad).

"Dammit, why isn't my mustache as luxuriant as Aamir's?"

I shall actually have to resort to heroics to win a woman!

Lobsteration:

What do you mean "half a pound of make up is not enough?"

How do they all not fall off?

There is such a thing as taking maintaining a good posture to ridiculous extremes:

And what's a movie without a bare chest or two?

"Yup, still here!"

Date: 2005-08-05 04:50 am (UTC)If you like more gritty and socially relevant movies, "Yuva" is a good example. If it's colorful song and dance and a lot of emotion (and pretty women in colrful outfits), "Veer-Zaara" is good. "Bunty aur Babli" is a good comedy. "Devdas" (pics here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dangermousie/80797.html) is sumptuous and very beautiful. Asoka is a good period epic with battles.

Date: 2005-08-05 05:00 am (UTC)It sounds like I'd like "Veer-Zaara," "Devdas" and "Asoka" - I like J-pop a *lot* (to Allie's bemused toleration), and I suspect that the taste might carry over. And, battles, yay.
