Veronica Mars and Gossip Girl: aaaaah, see I still watch American TV

Veronica Mars is officially cancelled. See CNN. The sad thing? It doesn’t bug me at all, while last year I was going frantic over the possibility. R.I.P., the show with one amazing season, one good one, and one horrid one.

*sigh*

I think I’ll continue my S1 rewatch and meta (i stopped with 1.16 I think) just to remind myself of the good old days.

But Supernatural is renewed!

And is anyone else interested in the upcoming CW teeniebopper drama Gossip Girl? It sounds so deliciously trashy, with its cast of hot young rich people going to prep school and dealing with clearly important issues like brand names and more brand names :D

Is Gossip Girl based on the book series of the same name? I've never actually read the series, but I see the books at Barnes and Noble all the time.

OMG!!! i totally forgot that gossip girl was being made a tv series. DANG! i used to love reading the book series, but i haven't been following it since the 4th book. i think i need to start reading it again =P but shoot, i think they cast them pretty well. i'm kind of excited now

yeah i feel the same way about Veronica Mars... i don't feel bad about it being cancelled...

and Gossip Girls isn't that a series of books that are deliciously trashy and i hope it's as good as it looks cause elite rich girls with problems kinda sounds good to me

Omg! It's gossip girl....admit I never expected u to be into this sort of thing...I read this a few years ago in year 8 i presume. Yeh, it was very bitchy and all the girls were so mean!- but I loved it. Blake looks exactly how I imagined serena but geez Blair is soo off...I imagined her taller and so is Jenny. She's errr not exactly how I imagined her...
