Wow. The Veronica Mars fandom death throws are...something else.

I don't get the whole brouhaha. If you like S3 and will watch anything VM-related, I get why you want the show renewed and will write letter of support etc etc.

If you think VM is currently horrible and got ruined and Rob Thomas doesn't deserve to continue to have the helm of a show as a steady job and/or you want it stopped before the show completely ruins any past greatness any further, so you actively want it cancelled? I get that too.

And if you just lost interest and turned off the channel? Yeah. Understandable.

I tend to be between options 2 and 3 myself.

The point is, people are totally entitled to any of these! Why why WHY be up in arms that people want to see the show cancelled? They have just as much right to push that agenda as you do the 'save the show' one.

Seriously.

In any event, this show is GONE. There is no point writing 'please cancel' because it already is or 'please save' because it's goooooone.

So. VM fandom. Please calm down. K?

Meanwhile, I'll be off in a corner watching my dramas. They have a set number of eps and VM would hve benefitted enormously from same.

The last 2 seasons of Buffy were a mass of good ideas that were either taken too far, or never fully realized(the slayers for one, and the Spike/Buffy could have been amazing, but they took it too far in several directions). I liked watching them, but consider the end of season 5 one of the best endings to a TV show ever.

It's a pity that VM will finish on that so very bitter note. The two first seasons still were awesome and we can thanks Rob for that. But yosh, better to end than to continue on the terrible path it's in.

Mmmm. I'm in the same situation. I loved Veronica mars with a passion last year. I was so obsessed and I'd cry if I missed an episode and go online and download it/watch it ASAP. Now I am like, geez was I really like that. VM was a one-season wonder and should have stayed that way. It's crappy that they tried to squeeze it out into something it's not.
