I can't help it - I know the target audience age is probably in the single digits but...

It looks so wholesome and simple and mushy and with singing and dancing. So basically it's America does Bollywood and how can I resist?

I mean, this is so very very Bollywood:

It is wholesome and the songs are catchy. I'm not a big fan of Zanessa, though. Zac is too thin, and Vanessa always looks kind of stoned to me.

The songs are REALLY addicting. The story's shallow of course but still.. the songs and all that choreo are catchy :) Not a big fan of Vannessa though. I actually don't like her. But I really love Ashley, she's too cute! <33

My daughter and her friends are obsessed with this stuff. They went to see the musical for one of her friend's birthday. I get these waves of rejection inside - she wants to wear clothes with HSM logos.

I have to admit, I really did like the first one. But the 2nd one not so much, a couple of the songs yes, but the movie itself... no. I mean where else could you find Zac Efron singing a song on a golf course in all black.

I've thought about seeing the movies, but don't know if I can stand all the singing. I don't really like musicals, though I did like Hairspray (remake from last year).

I saw part of the 2nd movie a while ago and started laughing when they broke out in song during a baseball game. XD
