Shippy hard-headedness...

You know, I might ship Grace and Dong Chul (a lot!), but I am rather happy it looks like she is going ahead and will marry Mark Parker or whatever his name is (Dennis Oh cannot act, however. OMG. Painful).
Mainly because, let's face it: Grace has been running after DC for years. She has even offered to give everything up for him. And Dong Chul, even if he loves her, cannot reciprocate and show his feelings because of the promise he made to Grace's father (in exchange for Mob Boss making him rich and powerful and thus able to protect his family, he will let go of Grace). I don't blame him for willing to put the safety of his family first (not to mention he doesn't want her to get involved in his messed-up life) but the fact remains he does not let the relationship progress at all. And a part of me thinks that she should want a man who would put her first, no matter what (the way Dong Chul's younger brother Dong Wook did with his childhood love. Now that really was true love by any standard).
And so the way it is now, it is a total dead end, and past a certain point, a girl, if she has any common sense or self-respect should just say 'enough is enough, this ain't happening' and move on.
Plus, the way DC is getting beaten up in every ep, he'll die before he is 35 anyway :P
Still, they are darn gorgeous, angsty, and chemistry-filled together. And, parodoxically, I think Grace's 'moving on' might enable their story to move out of the dead end too. I don't even need them to live happily ever after or what not. I just want DC to, once, at least once, initiate the first move or acknowledge his feelings for her, to her, openly and not obliquely.

She makes him promise to stay alive no matter what...(Did I mention she agreed to marry Mike in exchange for the promise of her father not to harm DC?)
