I've just discovered Tasyfa's Roswell fic. What rock have I been under? It's so full of angsty Max/Liz goodness, and some lovely M/M too....*sluuuuuurp*

I also must be the only Dreamer fan who doesn't mind Max sleeping with Tess. Or at least, I think it was angsty and sad and daaaaamn, but I don't blame Max in the least for it, as the boy was in the nervous break-down territory and Liz "slept" with Kyle and did everything but get a restraining order against him. Poor guy.

Yeah, I read your Roswell-related post. But hey, VM is a worthy obssession successor. I multitask in my obssessions so for now I am obssessed about 9 different fandoms :)

Tas was my first Roswell fic that sucked me in and she gets all squishy when I tell her that.

How...odd...that you're discovering Tas 2 days before she "officially" quits writing Roswell fanfic.

As for Max sleeping with Tess, here's my take on it.

I didn't particularly enjoy watching it but it doesn't make me hate Max.

If the person who I loved most in the world broke up with me for no apparent reason and then as far as I knew went and slept with someone else *I* would be grieving and pissed and would most likely get it on with someone else given the chance. He didn't know that she was evil. And Liz was not coming back to him as far as he knew. He didn't cheat on her. They weren't together. End of story. People who say that Max should have just "known" that Liz would come back and stayed faithful to someone who wasn't taking him back confuse me. It seems like a pretty fairy tale nonsense. Yes, this is fiction but I think that there's a certain romantic ideology there that has nothing to do with real people and emotions. And I like my fictions to ring true with emotional flavor.

Now when Max yells at Liz and freaks out regarding the Alex situation, that makes me kinda mad at Max. Or when he tells Isabel that she can't go to college, end of discussion...

Well, considering I discovered Roswell a few years after it's been cancelled, it holds true to pattern :P

Well, to be fair, Max was trying to be supportive over Alex's death and I can see his freak-out thinking aliens were responsible for the guy's death as you know for Max "aliens responsible"="max responsible." I cut him some slack there, because the guy is grieving in his own way, and I do find him really reasonable when he told Liz that he would be willing to entertain possibility Alex was killed by an alien if she was willing to entertain the opposite. I am actually more on Max's side of that fight than Liz's.

Iz, yes, I would want to hit him. But hey, nervous break-down land must be cheap in Roswell, because by then he bought a whole farm...

The one time I really want to smack him upside the head and not in "you arebeing mean but you are in pain, woobie" kinda fashion is in S3 when he was going to get on that freaking spaceship.

As far as I know Tas only has two unfinished stories and she's going to post the last part of "Splitscreen" tomorrow and that's it.

I forgive Max for all kinds of things too and I agree with you about the spaceship thing in S3. Sylvia37 is writing an epic that splits off from that point and makes him make it up to Liz. (There's a hell of a lot more to it than that but you know).

I'm on my boyfriend's computer so I don't have a link right now but Sylvia's story is at Fanatics and won almost every major Dreamer award last round of awards. It's called "Everything to You" and is VERY LONG. I didn't finish it before I got distracted from Roswell. It's in the CC forum. She probably has an author's page but I don't know.
