Drama happiness...

You know, I could spend the whole drama happy watching Goni's utterly open and adorkable adoration of Nan Sook and her happiness in having it. Seeing that this is a kdrama, however, I foresee that their 5 minutes of happiness are almost up and we are going to enter the land of angst soon.

Tazza does have a psychotically hot cast, doesn't it? I can't decide whether I find this cast, or the EoE or KotW cast sexier.























In other news, I have no idea what is going on in this bit of preview for ep 15 of East of Eden, but whatever it is, it's making me glee.

Pretty was never the word I'd describe Han Ye Seul, but in the pictures you posted, I'd say that I am starting to see he in a different light.

HWho would have thought there would be yet more weeping in East of Eden?!!! I have to say, though, that unless Grace stops going on about Dong Chul being her father's hunting dog and generally making it all about her pain at seeing him knuckle under to her father, I will get pretty tired of her soon. Honestly, doesn't she ever wonder what got him to the point where he needed her father's help?

I don't really blame her, actually. If you think about it, there must have been a lot of men who 'wooed' her for the sake of her position and her father's cash, and she thought DC was different and then he went and sold out for money. I don't blame her for thinking it was just for ambition: I am sure plenty of people would do it only out of ambition and she doesn't know him that well. Plus, she must be pretty hurt because she liked him and her still liking him despite her dislike of his actions and seeing him as mercenary scum is what's making her so pissed.

I'm sympathetic to why she does it, but I think all the same it's getting a bit tiring as that's a lot of her dialogue - I am wondering how much this sort of thing is going to be a problem because the show is so long; all of the characters are probably getting extended amounts of behaviour that would be over and done with much faster on a regular kdrama (like bitter old mum: is she ever going to stop wailing about Dong Chul's terrible sins? And going on to the portrait of the guy she seemed to want to die when he was alive?)

His mother cracks me up. I bet she is one of those women who loves her husband a lot more when he is dead and she can complain bitterly about it, then when he was inconveniently alive.

I recently hear so much the title East of Eden. Is it worth watching it? Since I don't know about it, and just from pictures I can't really decide.

I like it, but it's 50 eps so might be too long, depending on how tolerant you are of the length. Also, it's a revenge/angst melodrama, so if you are looking for something light, that's not the thing. I love it, though!

I don't have problems with the length, but I tend to get impatient if I can't watch all episodes at once. XD
If the story is good, I have no problems of any kind of drama... I like to say, that if it's from Asia, I already love it. ^^

Don't think that's a problem. It takes time to even get the series... and even till then I have a big variety to choose from. X3
