I promise I will stop soon
Sep. 24th, 2008 07:57 pmBut it has been so long since I have been in love with an airing kdrama. Not since Hong Gil Dong which ended in March.
So pardon my excitement.
I mean! OTP! She slaps him. Heeee.

Also, I was right. She is a Puyo Princess. And he is a Gogureyo Prince (even if he doesn't know it). The two countries are at war. And he is currently a humble rootless commoner who shouldn't even look at a princess. Can we say star-crossed? I know we could.

Date: 2008-09-25 12:40 am (UTC)Overall, I prefer Korean period dramas to Chinese and Japanese ones.
The Japanese ones are generally slow-moving (I like politics more than the next person, but endless people with beards statically discussing things with voiceovers, gets tiresome). Also, their budgets aren't as huge as Chinese or Korean ones.
I like the Chinese ones a lot, but they tend to be a lot more 'fantasy' then Korean ones, which are either strictly 'realistic' with only minimal wirework (a la Damo) or even when fantasy, like Legend, more of a historical fantasy. If you liked Chinese Palladin btw, may I recommend my favorite Chinese one: Return of the Condor Heroes. It's my favorite Chinese period drama:

if you need any more recs for Korean or Chinese ones, I will be happy to provide (I am much less familiar with the Japanese ones).
