dangermousie: (Mawang otp by miss-dian)

I have no desire to watch Maou (loved the original too much) but I was looking at the Maou thread on soompi and found this little comment:

"What made this episode even more interesting is the little romance between Tomoo and Shiori! I personally hope that they end up together. =X"

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Snowball's chance in hell. Now, granted, I ship the kdrama equivalents of these two like mad but ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Seriously, Mawang had such a notorious ending!

...

You mean they don't skip off into the sunset together at the end? D:

Heee. Unless they changed his character a lot, I cannot see him skipping at any point...soberly walking, yes, skipping no.

*stares at your icon* Stares some more. Crinkles her brow. what's it from? For some reason I'm finding it oddly fascinating, though that may be just cause the guy looks like Vic Zhou:) But I swear I haven't seen whatever it is..

It's from the original Maou is based on, the Korean drama Mawang (The Devil), the people in the icon are the drama OTP played by Joo Ji Hoon and Shin Min Ah.

Oh God this is a bad dorama. I've watched two episodes and I don't think I can on on! I actually had to put on Mawang after each to wipe it from memory!!

I really have no interest in it...why remake something that was perfect anyway?

Exactly! You can’t even compare the two.

Icon!

There are many interesting in concept but flawed in execution dramas they could remake. Why on earth did they pick Mawang?

ah Nobuta- there's something they did right!!
Who knows what they were thinking? And the cast is so young- when did the lawyer have time to plot this intricate web of revenge (between kindergarten classes?).

BTW am just about to start Utahime, thanks for the pictures!

I literally almost spit my hot chocolate out when I read that.

Hope you like Utahime. It looks set to become one of my all-time favorites.
