
After a season or two of Korean dramas so lackluster they almost put me off kdramas for good (Hong Gil Dong was the last one I loved, all the way in the winter!) I am happy to say I am finally getting excited about a kdrama again.
The culprit? East of Eden, a period (50s-70s) family-revenge-business-politics saga starring Song Sang Heon, Lee Da Hae, and bunch of others.
I like the premise and the trailer looks amazing:

Date: 2008-08-14 01:48 pm (UTC)This, Tazza, and Song Il Gook's upcoming period epic about the son of a mad king, are the only three upcoming kdramas that I am even remotely interested in (even the Hyun Bin/Song Hye Kyo one fails to generate enthusiasm). I think if I have to see another romcom or tragicrom or whatever any time soon, I'd kill someone.
