About to do a Breakfast Club rewatch

Anybody is as in love with The Breakfast Club as I am?

In case you are unfamiliar, TBF is a 1985 movie about five very different teens (a juvenile delinquent, a nerd, a jock, a weirdo girl, and a popular 'princess') who must spend a day in detention together. They talk, they fight, they connect.

I am about to rewatch it for the umpteenth time...

(Oh, and being very predictable, I totally adore Bender/Claire. In RL, way unworkable, but in a movie? Hell yeah...)

Judd Nelson was awesome in this movie. Shame his career didn't really go all that far, bar a couple of things. Love the movie though. I got to study it in high school. Awesome.

I caught it a few weeks ago on tv and still enjoyed it. I adore the bit where they all dance. Also, yes to Bender/Claire! But I was also seeing Bender/Allison, I love it when a film 23 years old can make me ship. :D

Also, just a while ago, upon viewing the first episodes of Lipstick Jungle (meh), I was musing that I really miss Judd Nelson. Judd Nelson makes anything right: he's the paprika of acting.

Bender/Claire is indeed <3a. I didn't like the Allison 'ship because I don't think Allison needed to be "prettied up" for a boy to notice her. :-( I liked her being gothy and weird!! The movie is super cute though.
