My recent resurgence of interest in jdramas (after it being dormant for over a year) can be attributed to incredibly high-minded motives:

I have just finished watching the first episode of Innocent Love, a jdrama starring Horikita Maki and Kitagawa Yujin as fated (and very screwed-up) lovers.

My next jdrama is Innocent Love, based solely on the poster and the fact that it's by the same woman who wrote my biggest jdrama melodrama love, Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake.

Our heroine is an orphan whose parents died in a fire for which her brother has been convicted. She meets and falls for a dreamy pianist with a comatose fiancee. Hijinks ensue.

I expect plenty of yummy angst.
