I care when a single mother accidentally kills a debt collector after he threatened her and then her little girl went missing?
But I do care. He was hardly a shining beacon of humanity, but I feel bad for his death anyway. And Lawyer does create a heck of collateral damage. It's acceptable for him to wreck/risk (or wreck further) the lives of former convict, single Mom, her child (if the woman is convicted, kid goes to the orphanage) etc. Not to mention the families left behind.
I would have no problem with him if he went to the Cop and stabbed him. What he is doing though...not so much.
More light will be shed on this in the last act.
I got the sense, from ep 8, his father never cared for him but didn't want trouble so got him out. But while I can't get behind the motivation, I don't have the problem with the act itself simply because even a good parent would have acted that way.
