I highly recommend Kimi wa Petto It was my first MatsuJun!drama and I loved him by the end of it, having come to the drama wanting to watch Koyuki (one of my favorite Japanese actresses). The first episode made me go, "WTF?!" but after I got past that, the solid acting and the plot keeps you in. As other people said, you'd be surprised to find that there really isn't a great power imbalance in the relationship and if there is one, I would say that it's the normal power inbalance that one can find in Japanese society - male over female, rather than female over male (which is the surface appearance of the drama).
