dangermousieI think it's a sign of my inner corrpuption that when I walk by a bookstore and see the book title "Behold the Pierced One" I think it's about a guy with piercings and tattoos. Then I see that it's by the new Pope and realize it's about Jesus...Hm.
Also, book rec of the day. Beverley Harper "The Forgotten Sea" Why? It's set in Mauritius, how many books like that do you get? It's a fun thriller-type plot (drugs, gun running, murder). The heroine is Australian (divorced journalist) and so is the hero (twice divorced mogul who is quite an angsty hunk) and the whole plot has that "wouldn't this make a great fun movie" quality. Shakespeare it ain't, but I love it. It might be hard to find, as the author is Australian as well.
