Howl's Magic Castle

Just watched Miazaki's "Howl's Magic Castle" and it's beautiful, romantic and breath-takingly dream-like. It's in serious running for my favorite film of the year.

Oh, and Christian Bale is hot even as a cartoon :)

I want a HMC icon.

I am not a purist and as long as voices are good, I prefer dubbing for cartoons as that way I am not distracted from the artwork. Plus...Christian Bale, yum!

Well, my issue with dubbing is that I've never found a dub that was as good as the original.

But if you're not used to some of anime voicing conventions, I suppose the originals might sound a bit strange at times, so the dub probably worked better for you.

I had some great Howl icons a while back. I'll try to hunt them down for you. I hate dubs normally, but I'll watch it for Christian. He has a lovely voice anyway and he's Howl so what's not to like.

Meh. I would hesitate to say that it's Christian's voice acting that makes the character hot. It's not like it's a cartoon of Christian.
