as I am hellishly amused by Tom Cruise's humongous midlife crisis. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Forget Bennifer, people. This is the real deal :D

He is hot and a good actor. A pity he is also quite insane.... *cavorts with glee*

Some pictorial evidence. But damn! Crazy or not, he's still hot. If it wasn't for the whole twice-divorced, cultist thing, I would say the awful Katie Holmes did well for herself. But people who believe that we are inhabited by souls of dead aliens would never be really high on the eligible list, I am afraid.

He totally creeps me out. He does manic, egotistical characters *very* well (gee, I wonder why?), and I admit to having enjoyed a number of his movies, I just don't *like* the type he specializes in. Scientology creeps me out (two of my college housemates went out for cigarettes one evening and came home several hours later as zombie converts ::shudder::).

Nicolle must be smiling to herself to see him making such a public ass of himself.

I'm not exactly sure if Katie Holmes knows what is going on, is using this for a career ploy, or has been kidnapped and is being forced to marry Tom Cruise like some bizarre romance novel. I personally find the last option hilarious.

I think the reason this "romance" has everyone raising eyebrows is that celebrities are notoriously coy about their love lives and Tom Cruise has been very much so (i.e. check how defensive he gets when anyone asks him if he and Kidman are still friendly), that for him to be doing cartwheels off sofas and to basically be skipping down the street throwing flower petals and singing "I'm I love", either he's A) gone crazy, B) is in the middle of the worlds most hilarious midlife crisis, C) feels War of the Worlds needs to be overshadowed by his antics, D) somehow thinks his antics are going to make more people see War of the Worlds, E) has let the Scientology go to his brain, or F) seriously IS in love and is frightening everyone in his path with that possibility.
