I want to say DON'T DO IT!! but this may be hypocritical of me as I've just bought a British film, a British comedy series from play.com (another British site!) AND whilst waiting for those to arrive, I've been maniacally surfing all my previous Britcomedy faves on youtube.

As grace_om pointed out, European DVD's are Region 2 but that shouldn't be a problem as you have Asian DVDs that are also not your region..

What I can say about amazon.co.uk is this - if I can ever AVOID buying from it, I do. They overpack insanely (a tiny book or a dvd comes at a ridiculously large cardboard envelope of sorts that always ends up at the post office as it never fits ANY mailbox!) AND the VAT + shipping expenses are usually ridiculous. I ordered a £4 book, ended up paying something like £10 extra because of taxes and shipping! WTF!

However, if amazon.co.uk is the ONLY place where you can get these DVDs and you TRULY want them, then perhaps go for it? I'd rec play.com but they only ship in Europe and the US site doesn't stock R2.

There's also this: http://www.bbcamericashop.com/default.asp

What shows are you keen on getting, btw? Besides Dr Who nuttiness.
