A Beautiful Life...
Oct. 16th, 2007 11:37 pmI think I am brave enough to restart watching Beautiful Life. But I will need a LOT of handholding.
I am in a mad mood for a jdrama so I decided to restart ABL, about an eccentric hairdresser (KimuTaku *swoon*) and a handicapped librarian, who fall in love. And I love that these are two very individual, distinct, somewhat difficult people, not shiny romance novel fantasy.
It's romantic, and I loved the eight episodes I have seen with a crazy passion but I just know this one ends in tears, so I stopped for a long time.
Seriously, I am so going to need LJ support.
But you know what's so funny? I am really tired and nothing I was watching was keeping my interest because I get scatterbrained when exhausted. But I put this in, and the pacing. And KimuTaku (I always forget the sheer level of his intensity. He reminds me of SRK. Every time it's a shock.) and BAM.
Not tired, not inattentive, not anything any more.
Just absorbed.
He is about to go find her, even though he found out she has a one in third chance to end up dead.
OMG.
Here is a wonderful MV for it:
ETA: The problem is, much as I love this, it's giving me a huge yen to rewatch Pride (my second fave drama ever) and I can't be adding anything to the watch list :)

And he pulls her for a hug...
I just...
OH.
