I always imagined Ron looking a bit like Billy Elliot. Not like someone who looks like a turnip with one expression and shag carpeting on his head.

He only has one expression anymore, you're right. That perpetual "whaaa?" expression of consternation that confused stoners occassionally have. Ron should be a cuter red head. I understand he was when he was younger, but he's NOT any more.

In the book, I could totally see why Ron and Hermione (I almost typed in Harry, hee) would make a good couple. He's a bit rough but rather adorable "bloke-like" guy who is loyal and fun. In the movie? Come on, Hermione! Pick Harry! Or Ginny! Or run off and join a convent...but do not hook up with Movie!Ron

There was nothing stonerish about book Ron. He wasn't always the brightest crayon in the box, but he could keep up if people explained to him. Movie Ron is hopeless. And he always looks like he's just smelled feet or something and can't figure out where it's coming from. You can't tell me that she'd choose him over Viktor. Comon' Hermione, you're smarter than that.
