Your last chance to sell me on a lakorn

I hate to give up on the whole country's output but all three attempts to get into Thai lakorns have been unmitigated disasters.
First came Defendant of Love which I inhaled in two days in a sheer state of disbelieving horror. The hero of that one decided to get revenge on the woman who caused his brother to kill himself, only to kidnap his target's cousin. He proceeded to torture her, rape her, and then they feel in love. I simply could not stop because I couldn't believe what I was actually seeing and kept hoping someone would jump out and yell "surprise!" The two leads were gorgeous as all get-out and had incredible chemistry, but overall this was about the sickest mainstream thing I've seen. Somewhere there is a 1970s romance novel author weeping she did not get to use this plot.
The second one was Autumn Destiny. I liked the heroine and her sweet fiance. However, the story was about heroine and creep who kidnapped her (minus the raping, thankfully) as part of some completely idiotic (seriously, I could be here all day explaining why it was stupid) revenge plan against her father. Having learned from DoL, I gave up a few eps in. This did not even have benefits of gorgeous actors with great chemistry as hero looked about 12 and chemistry was nonexistent.
My third and final try was Leave the Last Light at Horizon. Shockingly, there was no raping or kidnapping, and the set-up was one I'd eat up with a spoon - hero is an elite bodyguard who is hired to protect a princess from a fictional kingdom which just suffered a coup d'etat. They fall into forbidden love. To top it off, the leading actor was so gorgeous, it was unreal. HOWEVER, I got through about 7 episodes and nothing happened. I mean it. I've seen sitcoms which had more story. I gave up because, incredibly, whoever made this screwed up a total gimme. (Though maybe I'll go back to it one of these days just to check if the pace picked up).
So this was my three unlucky attempts. I am almost giving up on lakorns but I want to give them one last try. Any recommendations? I don't care about budget (I grew up watching Soviet TV), and I am pretty lenient about acting ability, all I require is (1) no hero on heroine rape if possible (2) something actually happens.
So, if you could rec a lakorn to me, what would it be?
