Having a lovely time, but suddenly, I miss Bollywood. Anyone see Bunti aur Babli yet?

So, to feed the craving a bit, here´s the first pic from Salaam Namaste, a movie coming out this summer about two expats who fall in love in Australia. Starring Preity Zinta (who I adore, sorry katranna) and Saif Ali Khan (who I also adore, no sorries to ANYONE). Plus, after seeing their chemistry steal the show in Kal Ho Na Ho, I cannot wait to see a movie centered around them.

Heee. Yes indeedy. I thought they were adorable in KHNH and I was often rooting for the two of them to hook up, which if you know my SEK predilection is crazy!

KHNH is a weird one to me. I love the whole triangle situation in the first half. But I started losing my love for it as soon as Aman revealed that he was going to sacrifice his love and started running the show. I just thought that Rohit was much more adorable with his secret crush than when he started listening to Aman's advise.

Don't get me wrong. If he hadn't taken the advise then he probably would have pined away forever unsuccessfully for Naina. But I just resented that it felt like Aman was changing Rohit's personality. And the more aggressive Rohit was just a lot less attractive to me. Especially since I kept wondering whether this should be the "true" Rohit or just Aman speaking through him.

I saw the short trailer for Salaam-Namaste when I saw Bunty aur Babli today. No way is the girl in your picture Preity Zinta - if it is, then she had half of her body airbrushed off.

GreanBear you HAVE to watch Bunty aur Babli - it's every bit good as you expect it to be. Abhi looks adorable, Rani is great and together they rock!

Oh MAN! I totally thought that when I saw the trailer too! Well, not about her bod disappearing, but I saw glimpses of the wardrobe and thought it was Priyanka, Lara, or some other beauty queen. I did a double take when I saw Preity's profile on that bod!

Also I loved BnB! Kicked ass! What a perfect feel-good kick-off-the-summer movie!

I dunno, I thought that the beginning, where he basically orders him to neglect Naina a bit so she will learn to miss him was already a bit much. Especially since it seemed obviously that he didn't want to do it like that.
