Quick My Love Patzzi thought before bed

An ep and a bit in, My Love Patzzi is very cute, but you know, a random thought.

I don't really find Kim Jae Won (the other male lead) attractive at all. He is not ugly or anything but I really don't find him appealing in the least. It's going to sound odd, but it's his mouth. It freaks me out a bit.

Hmmm. Maybe he'll grow on me.

And if not, I am fine with it. After all, I find Kim Rae Won quite appealing enough to compensate, on the attractiveness front (btw, why do most kdrama actors have really similar names? Is it some unwritten rule?)

LOL. Actually I've thought the same. Li Ji Hoon. Joo Ji Hoon. Jeung Ji Hoon (Rain's real name). Girls too! Park Eun Hye. Park Shin Hye. Yoon Eun Hye :D But hey, to (some) Asians, most Americans have similar names and even look the same. Hanadan 2 is proof *laugh*

Yes I remember when I first got into dramas I hated the names.
I was like, why do they have three names?! I'm still pretty crap but getting used to it.I find it much easier to learn Taiwanese names because most are westernized (jerry yan, joe cheng, jiro wang, ariel lin, rainie yang, barbie hsu etc.)
Japanese are not bad but Korean names are so hard. I have a Korean girl in my class this year and her names Kim Soo-jin (i think?!). It took me AGES to get that right. Heh.

Re: Korean names. I don't mind three names, it's just odd that so many of the actors have such similar names. I guess it's the Korean version of half the people in Bollywood having last name 'Khan.' :)

Now that I'm half way through the 4th episode & starting to panic that they're going to do something sad to the lead guy (his heart makes me nervous since they haven't explained that yet) I had to check your reviews again & stumbled across this post. I agree very much so regarding Kim Jae Won's mouth. His smile is just...scarily huge. I think that's one thing Nicholas Teo has over him - his smile is very similar but not so scary.

I wholeheartedly agree. NT isn't what I would call drop-dead hot or anything but he's got that irresistible prescence on screen.

FYI, Kim Jae Won is better looking in "My Sister-in-Law is 19". He looses the nappy hair that he had in MLP which makes a world of difference.

I'm up to episode 8 now. It isn't really very dramatic but there has been some mild angst. I really needed a short, light drama so this has been a good break for me. It just better fill my romantic quota - I need good kisses!

Never made it so far so no idea if there is kissing but normally KRW is a kissing fiend (and in one drama, there is even a make-out-sex scene apparently).

There's been one kiss so far but it was between her & Kim Jae Won. It was an ok kiss - I wasn't very thrilled. The close-up was way too close & you couldn't see anything anyway. Plus I was busy fretting because KRW saw it - poor heartbroken guy... :( I want a kiss with my OTP, not the "other guy"!

She was so cutely happy about getting her first kiss & all I could think was, "Missy, if you're that ecstatic over that sorry excuse of a kiss, wait till KRW knocks your socks off when/if he finally kisses you!"
